STAFF BIOGRAPHIES

Victoria O’Toole

Executive Director and President of Adoptionworx Canada Inc., was born and educated in Toronto, completing both undergraduate and post-graduate studies at the University of Toronto. Prior to founding Adoptionworx, she has had an enjoyable and varied career path, having held management positions in Commercial Real Estate Development; the Public Service for the Provincial Government; and Adult and Special Needs Education.

As well, her charitable activities include a 20 year commitment to World Vision; participation in hospital foundation and fund-raising committees; and volunteer orientation/ job-search consultations for newcomers.

We are pleased to have a Legal Consultant in Albania. As the adoptive parents' Power of Attorney, she will guide clients through the maze of legalities and adoption finalization requirements, in conjunction with the Executive Director.

As well, we have a comprehensive team of Consulting doctors, lawyers, and adoption specialists both here in Canada and in Albania with whom we work.

Board of Directors

We are both pleased and fortunate to have a Board that includes:
A doctor/psychologist, specializing in family therapy, who has lectured world-wide and published extensively; a former Education Consultant and current principal active in multicultural pursuits; and a Vice-President of York University (Toronto) and past Honorary Consul of Albania; a senior system analyst at York University who has formerly held a diplomatic posting. As well, we have a team of highly experienced consultants in Canada, in the fields of law, immigration, accounting and medicine who contribute greatly to our commitment to service excellence.

Our Advisory team - Program Albania, includes a comprehensive group of Albanian professionals, representing a cross-section of fields, residing both in Canada and Albania. We are fortunate and appreciative to have their expertise.
